Curried Channa & Potato 1 can of cooked channa 2 potatoes 1 small onion 2 cloves garlic 2 tbsp cooking oil 2 tbsp curry powder salt and black pepper optional ingredients: peppersauce, shadon beni
What to do: 1. Cut potatoes into 1/2" slices, then cut them into 1" squares 2. Heat oil in iron pot, add onion and garlic 3. Mix curry powder with cold water, add to oil and cook until thick 4. Add potato and stir till coated with curry 5. Add 1 cup of boiling water and cook until most of the water boils down 6. Add tin of channa and continue cooking until the water boild down and the mixture is tender and thick 7. Season to taste

yummy , now do you drain the channa ?

hm ... I am trying to remember what I did the last time (giggle) Yes, I believe I did. Hubby would have had a fit no doubt if I didn't.

Made this for lunch today , added in some stewed chopped tomatoes too, it was delicious ! Thanks for the recipe.
