I just need to blow off some steam. My husband has been looking forward to this weekend as there is a carnival at our historical park including tubing, fireworks, live bands, and a pond hockey tournament with Wendal Clark. He emailed the park a few months ago about getting autographs and such and they quickly replied back and they have been advertising everywhere about the events BUT today in the paper it said admission is you have to purchase a button ahead of time. That is the first time either of us have heard about the button. So he got dressed and went out in search of the buttons and they are sold out everywhere. I guess the store that was selling them had a huge lineup when they opened of people wanting the buttons. So, when he went there was still lots of people in search and talking about not knowing that they needed to buy a button ahead of time. I guess the only buttons left are for ages 6-12 years but lets examine this a bit further what parent would buy a button for their kids and not be able to get in with them . Today our daughter slept till 11:30 ;D so of course we did too and didn't see the paper till lunch. So, our plans for the weekend that he has been looking forward to are out. NOT IMPRESSED Jules
